At one month, Lida:
- weighs 9 lbs. 3 1/2 oz. and is 20 1/2 inches long
- wears size 1 disposable diapers or prefolds with a newborn size cover
- wears newborn or 0-3 month size clothing
- nurses about every 2-3 hours during the day and wakes up once or twice during the night to eat
- is often fussy or wide awake and content for the first part of the night (usually right when Keith and I want to go to bed), but sleeps for several hours once she gets settled down
- sleeps very well during the day and almost always sleeps through whatever errands or visits we make when we're out and about
- is awake for only short periods of time in between nursing and sleeping
