Imagine my surprise and delight when I went in to get David up from his nap and found this:
He's really developing his own personality, and it has a bit of a prankster in it. You can tell by the look on his face that he knew this little stunt would make me laugh. And laugh I did...and then we sang a nursery rhyme:
Diddle diddle dumpling, my son John,
Went to bed with his trousers on
One sock off, one sock on,
Diddle diddle dumpling, my son John.

Did he hear the phrase "put a sock in it" somewhere? It looks like he knew what he was doing like you said.
