Lida @ Two Months

At two months old, Lida:

• weighs 10 lbs. 7 oz. and is 22 inches long
• wears size 1 disposable diapers or prefolds with newborn size covers
• wears size 0-3 month clothing (although she can still fit into a couple of newborn outfits)
• has had some goopy eye days which the doctor says occur because her eyes have started to produce tears but don't always drain properly
• nurses about every three hours during the day and usually wakes up just once during the night to eat
• sleeps very well during the day- usually two or three good naps
• has very few poopy diapers - only about one each week (not that we're complaining)
• has very frequent, very stinky gas (we do occasionally complain about that)
• prefers to be held upright on one's shoulder
• smiles a big, beautiful smile in response to our voices and faces
• has started to coo
• has figured out how to get her hands to her mouth and enjoys sucking on them
• is a very happy baby - she really only cries during her fussy time in the evening
