For Christmas, Uncle Peter and Aunt Niki gave David these great socks. They immediately became a favorite. He affectionately refers to them as his "Peter socks" (or sometimes "Niki socks"), and he would wear them every day if he could. The fact that they are striped in Calvin College colors means that they match absolutely nothing in his closet, and yet he insists on wearing them with everything (or with nothing at all, as the photo shows).
